We are delighted to share with you the news of a successful visit from a group of students and instructors from Hogeschool de Kempel, a university of applied sciences in the Netherlands. This visit was part of our ongoing international collaboration program that aims to enrich the learning experience of our students and foster cross-cultural understanding and collaboration.

Hogeschool de Kempel is a prestigious institution that specializes in teacher education and has been ranked as the best primary school teacher education in the Netherlands for nine consecutive years.

The 18 students who visited us are in their final year of university and will soon become certified teachers. They came with three of their instructors, who have expertise in special needs and general education.

What they did

During their visit, the Dutch students wrote lesson plans and taught our students various subjects, such as:

  • The culture, history, and geography of their country
  • Interactive educational games
  • Enrichment activities

Our students enjoyed learning from them and had a lot of fun interacting with them.

What we learned

The visit was a valuable opportunity for both our students and the Dutch students to learn from each other, exchange ideas, and develop intercultural skills. We are grateful to Hogeschool de Kempel for their participation, and we look forward to hosting them again next year.

By participating in this international collaboration program with Hogeschool de Kempel, our school is demonstrating our commitment to inclusive education, which is a term used to describe a type of schooling where all students, regardless of ability or disability, have access to quality education that meets their specific needs.

We hope you are as proud as we are of our students’ participation and engagement in this international experience. If you have any questions or feedback, please feel free to contact us.
