Nicole Chua joined the HTS staff in 2022 as one of our science and social studies teachers. She graduated from the University of San Francisco with a B.A. in psychology and a master’s degree in education. She also received a single subject teaching credential in life sciences. Nicole has previously taught high school-level biology and physiology.
Nicole has brought her love for learning into our high school program, emphasizing the importance of critical thinking and communication in each of her courses. Whether she’s teaching chemistry or world history, Nicole makes space for students to discuss their ideas and understandings, and creates opportunities for students to collaborate positively during her many activities and projects.
