Michelle Giron oversees our high school program and serves as our school counselor.
She has a master’s degree in counseling with a specialization in school counseling and a pupil personnel services credential from Saint Mary’s College of California.
She has worked at HTS since 2017, when she began her educational career as a paraeducator at HTS and discovered a passion for motivating students to reach their full potential in school and in life.
As our high school director, Michelle works closely with teachers to ensure that students are well-prepared for life after graduation. Under her leadership, many of our HTS graduates have earned advanced degrees from major universities in the Bay Area and beyond.
Michelle is trained in facilitating groups for children with ADHD to support their executive functioning skills and motivation, along with behavior management groups to support students’ social and academic performances.
