Kelly Chua has developed and built our Life Skills Pathway program, helping high school students and adults with diverse needs learn and apply real-world skills both inside and outside of the classroom.
Kelly received a Bachelor of Arts in graphic design from San Jose State University. She has been working with children and adults with special needs in the community, professionally, and in-home care since 2012.
As our Life Skills Pathway teacher, Kelly has implemented our highly sought-after “adulting” classes, where high schoolers learn skills necessary for adulthood including budgeting, filing taxes, writing resumes, and more. Kelly has used her variety of talents and skills to empower her students for life outside of school while tapping into their own creativity. As an HTS alum, Kelly is deeply attuned to the inclusive mindset we hope every member of our staff embodies.
