Ian Jones started at HTS in 2024 and is our high school English teacher. lan graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in English literature. He has volunteered as a mentor for high school students for over a decade and participated in multiple writing and editing workshops both in and out of school.
Ian has infused the classroom with imagination, implementing his experience with novel writing into his curriculum. Ian continues to increase class engagement as he walks with students through the creative process.
