Adelaide Vincent joined the staff at Hope Technology School in 2009, building our program with her extensive knowledge and skill especially in the field of science.
Adelaide graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with bachelor’s degrees in molecular and cellular biology and rhetoric. She holds a master’s degree and teaching credential in special education from San Francisco State University. Before teaching at HTS, Adelaide taught science and music at Oakland School for the Arts.
Adelaide has demonstrated her ability to bring both the freedom to explore and the necessary structure students require to thrive in the classroom. In the high school, Adelaide brings levels of depth and critical thinking into her courses as she implements cross-curricular teaching.
