Our executive director and founder, Gail Ewell, recently wrote a featured op-ed for eSchoolNews, where she highlighted the urgent need to rethink education for the 15% of students who require special education services.

The number of students who need special educational services is at a record high, but most schools report being understaffed in their special education departments.

Gail’s article offers practical ways educators can create inclusive environments where all students can succeed. She also shares how Hope Technology School is actively working toward this mission.

As Gail writes, Hope Technology School is “an example of what’s possible when we are willing to radically rethink education and build a community around students’ needs.”

eSchoolNews is a digital media platform that supports the education technology industry, providing news, resources, and reports to educators.
