This week, Visa’s Data Platform Program Management and Business Operations team built and generously donated two brand-new double seater bikes to Hope Technology School (HTS).
Margaret Motamed, the Senior Director of the PMO team that donated the bikes, said she and her coworkers wanted to do a team-building and social impact project together. As a parent of an HTS alum, Margaret also wanted to continue supporting the school because it has made a difference not only in her son’s life but her family’s.
Visa is a strong advocate of giving back to the community. According to Al Kelly, Visa CEO, “operating a successful company is about much more than delivering strong returns to shareholders. It’s about harnessing a company’s products, services, employees and financial resources with the goal of making a positive, and ideally transformative, impact in the world. Doing well can and should mean doing good…”
A few of our HTS students visited Visa’s Palo Alto office to thank the team in person and take the bikes on an inaugural ride.

The bikes are going to make a great addition to our playground. Thank you Visa for your generous support of our school!
