Young minds are most receptive to new knowledge. In our kindergarten class we have fun every month. We celebrate upcoming holidays while we learn about cultures and take on multi-subject curriculum. Throughout the year we recite the days of the week and months of the year.
October was a fun month and to display what we learned about Halloween we made our very own paper pumpkins! Teacher tip: Using student work can be a great way to decorate for the holidays and promote student development.
In addition, we read this poem together as we discussed jack-o-lanterns.
Happy Halloween from our kindergarteners!
