6th Grade Art Pieces for Annual HTS Auction, November 28-December 5

I don’t pride myself on being an artistic person, so I was nervous about coming up with an idea for my class contribution to the school auction. Pinterest to the rescue! I quickly found a plethora of ideas to choose from, so I settled on a simple, yet gorgeous fall-themed piece of art at which I knew my students would excel.

Our class made two watercolor leaf paintings to sell at the auction, and we are so proud of them! Then we put them in sturdy wooden frames to better showcase the art and make them ready for display. We are hoping people go above and beyond the asking price to appreciate the students for their hard work, creativity, collaboration, and artistic ability!

Here are the items:

Title: 6th grade Collaborative art piece: Watercolor Leaf Painting

Value: at least $50

Description: The 6th grade students at HTS worked together to transform fall leaves into a beautiful work of art. Using warm shades, each student played a part in painting the background, laying the leaves, and painting over them in watercolors. The result is a statement art piece perfect for any home or office.
